Incredible plant-based flavors and hidden gem status!
Vegetarian To Go is an absolute must-try if you're looking for vegan or vegetarian food with actual flavor and soul. Located inside the Decatur Food Hub, it's a takeout-only setup, but the food travels incredibly well. Their menu has an awesome mix of Caribbean and American comfort food. The BBQ jackfruit plate is perfectly smoky and tangy, and their spicy vegan curry has the absolute perfect kick to it. It’s fresh, filling, and completely scratches that comfort-food itch without the heavy meat grease. Highly recommend ordering ahead for a seamless pickup!

LOVED IT!! My sister is trying to entice me to move to GA, so on my visit from CA she introduced me to VTG. First, this place has so many food options I couldn't even choose! I ended up getting Mango habanero wings (10); teriyaki mock chicken plate with that deliciously fluffy jasmine rice; the brisket plate with rice and beans, mac & cheese, and greens; and the lentil plate with rice and beans and greens (because not all vegetarians are obsessed with plant based "meats" and I appreciate that this menu caters to that as well. When they say this food is packed with flavor, they mean it! Comfort food at its finest :) YUM! I wish I could order from this place and get it door dashed to me in the Bay! I can't wait for my next visit. Great job VTG, come do a pop up in the Bay Area one day!

I recently tried Vegetarian To Go for a takeout order and was thoroughly impressed. The sweet and spicy tofu with rice was delicious, bursting with flavor. Their hearty dinner plates, like the one with vegan ribs, macaroni, vegetables, rice, and peas, taste just like home-cooked meals. It's a refreshing alternative to the usual burger joints in Atlanta.
